"What I like the most was how welcoming the couple were. They even wanted us to stay longer for free. Not everything is about money but having happy guests. I love it , relaxing, fresh eggs and lot of different fresh foods. Clean and beautiful nature. I love it very much and thanks for the wonderful service. It was a gorgeous little cabin, and we especially loved having the fire going and sitting in the bath watching the night sky through the windows. We got to pat the horses that back on to the property, and enjoyed the birdlife also. 10/10 recommend."

"We needed a dog-friendly home for a weekend away in the area to attend a party. Cottonwood Cottage is very sweet, with fantastic retro styling and a lovely garden. I was a bit taken aback on check in as it was not evident when booking that the cottage is actually a separate dwelling inside the bounds of the owner’s house. "We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time."

"Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."

"Such a lovely spot only a few minutes outside Maleny, just past the Showgrounds. You enter down a bit of a hidden driveway, the property sits on 2 acres of gardens - we had the whole ground floor which included 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 seating areas inside, dining area, kitchen and laundry. Outside and in the gardens there are so many places to sit and just enjoy the ambience. King Ludwigs German restaurant is only a 5 minute drive, on the same road. - We did dinner and went back the next day...

"I have stayed at the Mantra for many years from when it opened for family holidays, weekends away, single night work trips and even staged a conference at the property one year. It's a great location however it is starting to feel a little tired. I was in a 1st floor apartment this visit and it was fine, however there was a bad smell of stale smoke.
