The hotel building was beautiful soft stone and the entrance was very attractive with an outdoor dining area and well tended planting. The indoor decor was dark and traditional. The staff were very good, helpful without being intrusive . Breakfast went on until 11am and the choice was good especially fresh fruit juice, fresh fruit and cooked omelets. At times the restaurant and terrace seemed empty, an the terrace bar was not staffed.
The pool area in the rear garden was very attractive, although not too warm.
The rooms were pleasant and comfortable and the service we received absolutely made the holiday, all the staff from the main reception all the way down to the chambermaids were friendly, chatty and most helpful in making our stay a good one. The morning breakfast was varied by it's choice and quality and always gave us a great start to the day. Dubrovnik itself is one of the most delightful places that I have visited, the people, the sites and the restaurants with it's amazing fish dishes and service were first rate. Certainly worth another visit at a later date.
Really helpful staff with perfect English who explain where to get the bus outside into town. Bus goes every 20 mins and takes 10mins to get to the Pile Gate at the old town. Bus costs 12 kuna each way, hotel will sell you the bus tickets and it's cheaper than paying on the bus. Breakfast good and lovely setting overlooking the bay.
Modern hotel set in terraced Mediterranean gardens with intimate private beach, four kilometres from historic Dubrovnik …More
We had a breakfast and dinner plan included which was convenient. Bus to old town was right in front. Buy bus passes at hotel front desk. We did figure that a beach lounge would be free for guests but they were 30 kunas. Overall it is a very nice hotel with a nice beach and places to walk to nearby.
Small hotel, only 25 rooms, we had one of the top floor ones, and yes it meant walking up one flight of stairs, but it was lovely. Brilliant view out front(overlook a park and the pedestrian walkway) and also the setting sun over the sea. Lovely room, comfy bed and clean bathroom. Staff on reception, and throughout the hotel were brilliant. On arrival, we were given a bus timetable along with advice not to take a car to the old town, the bus stop is a few shades strides from the front door and is about £1 each way. More than worth a look. The hotel restaurant was really good too, and gave a10% discount to guests of the hotel. All in all, a perfect week. One we intend to revisit in the future. Many thanks to the hotel perla.
Dragan provided us with a very nice apartment in a central location, only a 15 minute walk from the old city and a 20 minute walk from the beaches. Around the block are various cafe/bars to choose from! The apartments were equipped with fridges microwaves toasters the whole 9 yards. Dragan was impeccably nice and accommodating, even picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. Clean towels were provided, however, it would have been nice to have the apartment tidied up and the beds made once in awhile. Overall, a great expirence and would definatley stay here again!
All the staff are very friendly and eager to help make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. The hotel itself is clean, with standard facilities, if a bit old fashioned. Our 14" Grundig TV had teletext! The rooms are all a standard large size and our double bed was huge- 7ft by 7ft! The nearest beach is very nice and about a 3 minute walk from reception. Overall a good base for staying in Dubrovnik...
