From the moment we were dropped off at the hotel we were looked after. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was superb & the local bus to Dubrovnik called at the hotel every 15 minutes. Our room was spacious & comfortable with a balcony and beautiful views of the sea & coastline. The rooms were kept clean & tidy with fresh towels daily. There was a beautiful pool area & pool bar & there were ample beds available. Although there was no beach we were able to go swimming in the sea off the rocks. On the top floor there was a beautiful indoor pool area with a spa. There was plenty of choice for the breakfast buffet. The hotel restaurants offered a great choice of food and the sunset bar was a lovely setting & great place to end off the night!
We should have been staying for 2 weeks but unfortunately we had a bereavement in the family & had to fly home early. The hotel had a guest relations officer who organised our flight home and made our nightmare bearable. We have nothing but praise for the way we were treated by the hotel staff.
"Excellent views - You really don't need to leave!"
Fantastic location - from a bond film.... If you're going to Dubrovnik to relax and not so much for touristy activities this hotel is great because the views from the sea facing rooms are magnificent. Water side terrace restaurant is a very relaxing area.. Staff are excellent - special shout out to Milan in reception who took very good care of us. Every time we needed a taxi it was there within 2-3 minutes. Hotel definitely made our short 2 day trip...Very good value for money...
Situated on a beautiful walking path, only a few minutes to the water and bus stop. Staff very friendly, speak good English, give good tourism advice. Would stay here again. Excellent breakfast with eggs, fruits, cheese and ham.
Without doubt in my 54 years on the planet this is without doubt the best hotel I and my partner have ever stayed at. The location is not the best in Dubrovnik but within its its walls and you are in another world. Its a small hotel with a limited number of rooms, but it is spotless quiet and with all mod cons you would expect with 5 stars (these are deserved). The pool area is private and is never crowded. The staff are attentive but not intrusive and will go that extra mile to help guide and assist.
The breakfast is wonderful and having tried numerous locations in the area for evening meal, we found no where better to eat than the hotel itself.
What more can I say, I would and will recommend this hotel to family friends and anyone intent on a break away from it in a wonderful hotel in a lovely country with friendly people......5 Stars
Are we glad we spent 2 weeks at this hotel.....................................................................................
I was invited to Dubrovnik for a friend's wedding. Most of the guests had found very expensive hotels, hostels and apartments in and around the old city. I decided to stay in Lapad, a small area just outside the city, in a hotel I knew I was going to spend barely any time in. The old city was a 10 minute bus ride away (12 HK ~ £1.50) and the stop is right outside the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pebble beaches were fantastic and even had their own free wifi. If you are looking for a room in Dubrovnik where you can sleep, wash and keep your stuff, I would highly recommend Hotel Adriatic.

The rooms were pleasant and comfortable and the service we received absolutely made the holiday, all the staff from the main reception all the way down to the chambermaids were friendly, chatty and most helpful in making our stay a good one. The morning breakfast was varied by it's choice and quality and always gave us a great start to the day. Dubrovnik itself is one of the most delightful places that I have visited, the people, the sites and the restaurants with it's amazing fish dishes and service were first rate. Certainly worth another visit at a later date.
Really helpful staff with perfect English who explain where to get the bus outside into town. Bus goes every 20 mins and takes 10mins to get to the Pile Gate at the old town. Bus costs 12 kuna each way, hotel will sell you the bus tickets and it's cheaper than paying on the bus. Breakfast good and lovely setting overlooking the bay.
