A lovely historical house and setting, wonderful and interesting accents around, excellent books with house and New Bern history to read, our room was comfortable and perfect with view of the clock, gracious additions to make our stay like home, the breakfast was delicious and excellent, off street parking and hosts helpful and personable. "Our grandson is being transferred to Jacksonville. We wanted to make an advance trip with him to find a home to buy. This home had easy access for that purpose. Food Lion was close by for any groceries we needed. The kitchen was nicely supplied with all we needed for our cooking needs. It was nice to have a washer and drier for convenience of washing clothes while cooking dinner and reviewing the houses we saw that day.
