"Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. "Quirky older building in great location - very close to centre of town and train station. A bit noisy and dated due to older building but otherwise very comfortable."

"Very quiet at the end of the road. The cockatoos were loud in the morning and just before they went to bed at night. A simple one kilometer walk to the fish and chip shop in Saint Mary's, that was good food too, especially the scalloped potatoes that are sliced thinly battered and then deep fried like a piece of fish. I love them."
