"This is a great location in Frankton, quiet, not far from a very busy Queenstown and the views are spectacular from the room. Walking/bike track is excellent. Jean-Pierre the consummate host, nothing too difficult, very generous with his time and advice of what to do, just one of of our best accommodation experiences ever. Definitely 5 start quality and service, if we could describe in one word it would be, 'wow'! "

"Pam was very helpful at check in , explaining everything about the hotel and assisting with dinner reservations. Delightful staff attitude reflected at the well organised breakfast room with a good selection of freshly made items combined with a buffet cooked to order by friendly staff. The 6.00 happy hour with free wine is another bonus and an opportunity for guests to mingle. The underground car park is convenient and has a lift for baggage. "

"A very comfortable stay! The rooms provided were very clean and quiet. There is ample carparking along the street however, everyday is a lottery as Queenstown can be quite busy. The only nitpick comment I would have to make is that the room can be a little too dim. The size of the rooms are huge but the amount light can be a bit insufficient. During the day there is just enough natural light which is fine."

"Our group of 13 stayed at the Lodge for a few days prior to undertaking the Milford Trek, and couldn’t have been happier to have this wonderful home as our jumping-off point! "I did not like (1) Small room with congested space (2) Not very clean (3) Bathroom is not very good (4) Less light in the room I liked (1) Best value for money. With this small amount of money the service they provided was awesome (2) Breakfast was superb. I am amazed that they gave us so much (unlimited bread, milk, verities of corn flakes, coffee etc.) with so little money"
