Only minor things that I can fault were the shower was not very powerful, could do with pump support, more coathangers and could do with a drawer unit for item storage. "A fabulous stay in a Club Double (recommended room choice) in one of the most beautiful Edwardian hotels in London. Two tube stops, Kensington Gardens and Palace, and restaurants galore -- all just steps away. The staff is superb, especially Xavier Gomes, the new manager; Manuela and Carmen, the two Romanian sisters who run the excellent breakfast buffet; Maureen at the front desk -- and many others. I've been staying in the Grand Royale for over a decade and love it!"

Firstly the fire-door down the hall would announce the comings and goings or hotel guests with a bang, at all hours of the night which didn't help us sleep. The second thing was the hotel staff could not repair the hotel in my room, they offered to change the room, but do you really want to move once you've unpacked?
