"The property is in a nice location. It is very close to the beach for great views, and low tide tidal pool exploration. It is also in a convenient proximity to the Redwood forests. We were able to explore the forest as close as 20 minues away, and alo went further along the beautiful highway 101 south for hours of amazing Redwood exploration. We had text and phone contact before the stay with the owners, and they were very nice and helpful with their suggestions for places to see, and what to...

"This was a return trip for us. We'd stayed at the raven house over 10 years ago before we had children. We brought them back for spring break to see the redwoods. It was so fun to come back. The house was even better with the addition of the hottub!"

"My family and I traveled to California for a mother’s day trip. This was home was our last stop and by far our favorite. The home was so beautiful and super clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.The host were easily accessible and went the extra mile to help set up a fire to roast some marshmallows! Incredible stay."

"First off, thank you for welcoming us! The house was cozy and in a great location, and came with lots of little extras that made it more relaxing. The backyard was great, especially if you have pets or little kids. The park is directly across the street which is also very convenient. The beach is a short walk from the house, and it’s a great little area that wasn’t busy at all! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again!"

"The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. "

"The pictures don’t do this house justice. It was a great house with plenty of room and a great layout. Super close to the Jedediah Redwoods. About 30-40 minutes away from Brookings Oregon, and a lot of amazing beach hikes. Beds were all comfortable and had a great laundry room and kitchen."

"Place was well organized, I have a group of friends and we do traveling remote work, convenient to hiking, close to the beach, and everything was as advertised. The trampoline was a hit with the group and 10 of us were comfortable in the house throughout the stay. Furnishing was nice and adequate and in like-new condition. The yard was very well cared for and we got to catch everything in bloom in the spring, spectacular!"

"My favorite part was definitely the location where I could see sunset from dining table and walk across the street to the beach. Nice big garage to park vehicle too, as well as driveway parking. Nice little sitting area out front. Older home with darker bedrooms, but just sleeping there anyway. Too many great things to do outdoors! Didn’t cook much, but kitchen seemed well supplied."

"The back bedroom has a treehouse feel there are so many trees surrounding it. The views looks south down Clam Beach to the Lost Coast when it is clear. Watching the tide change the height of Little River is fun. We had some friends up on the first night and the kitchen was great for hosting people, making drinks, and putting out food. We'd stay here again!"

"Wonderful property, my wife and I don’t travel as much as we’d like to, so when we do, we like to stay at nicer properties. We did some hiking each morning, we’d stop for lunch, head back to the property, soak in the hot tub and then make dinner in this awesome kitchen. Place was super clean and kept in top shape."

"I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return."
