"Stayed here with my girlfriend. We loved the resort. The private pool room is definitely worth it. The main pool is a little small. The beach was just okay bc of seaweed which they cleaned up a lot. One thing that was frustrating, when you walk in after checking in you will get approached by the people trying to sell excursions. They are like vultures. "I love to travel! This was my 6th time to Punta Cana, 1st time staying at the Catalonia. Me and my man stayed in the Suite on the Adults side. We had a great view from our balcony, the room was clean, hot water was amazing in the shower, housekeeping serviced our room everyday. The food was pretty good, so many options to choose from, we loved the drinks— so strong, dont be afraid to ask for more especially if you tipping lol. There was more positives than negatives, but still some negatives...
