"This house really exceeded all of my expectations. Our group included 5 adults and 3 kids (6, 4 and 2). The separate (yet attached) self contained unit was amazing for grand parents. The location is right next to the beach, close to a park for kids and a short drive into Port Douglas. You’d need a car to get to town. "The family of 10 was very comfortable in the property with lots of space and the right combination of beds and bathrooms . The pool was amazing and outdoor area was perfect . The kitchen is very well equipped with all the appliances we needed. Also , lots of fridge and freezer space and the washer and dryer were fantastic. Air conditioning worked really well and we highly recommend this property . We had cars and so the fact that we weren’t right in town or on the beach wasn’t a problem ....

"From the time we checked in we felt relaxed… The outdoor kitchen was an absolute winner for us. I would like to do that for my own property down the line, - as well as the outdoor bathroom. The only thing I would change would be some of the lighting to a warm light, as there was quite a lot of blue fluorescent lights in the place which reduced the ambience - otherwise a top spot for exploring Cow Bay all the way up to Cape Tribulation. As a couple we didn’t really need a 2bd apt but were glad to have the extra space as the main bedroom robe area was small (owner had locked cupboard space) and awkwardly positioned in front of the ensuite entrance. "We loved the location with a shot walk to the beach. It was a great base for our tours and heading in to the centre of Port Douglas.
