Power went off on this area of the city and the hotel did not have a back up generator. We were left without power for about one hour. It was not a good experience. Things were really good until the power went off.......
While pleasant and energetic, they were unable to efficiently and effectively manage our requests. Our group was traveling together to celebrate our 40th birthdays. I noted on my reservation that we wanted rooms close together. I called the hotel twice making this request as well. I was told we could only have adjoining rooms for double queen rooms, but they would note that we wanted our rooms close together. This notation was not on our reservation at check-in. We were told there were no adjoining rooms available. When we arrived in our single king rooms, they had adjoining capability. In fact, we were in two separate adjoining rooms, but not adjoining to each other. Very disappointing.
One night stay with my family of four after a road trip to Six Flags St. Louis from Kansas City, MO. We chose this hotel over others closer to the theme park specifically for the room accommodations, free hot breakfast, indoor pool, free wifi, and the list goes on! The Whirlpool Suite was well worth it's price to add a special touch to our short weekend getaway.
Overall this Hotel is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and comfortable. The free cookies at the front desk are awesome. Bartenders made excellent drings and outdoor was nice! We are always going to book Double Tree Hilton in Chesterfield when we return.
The park-studded Chesterfield - Wildwood area, bordered on the north by the Missouri River, is comprised of several smaller 1800s communities. Visitors can shop at Westfield Chesterfield Mall and Chesterfield Commons. Faust Park hosts festivals, a working 1920s carousel, and a butterfly house; Central Park includes the Aquatic Center with an 8,000-square-foot leisure pool.
