"We stayed here for 2 nights, went to Six Flags, and continued our treck toward Branson. It was a great stop along the way. The hotel was very clean and all staff was really friendly. The desk staff was dealing with no internet during check-in and they were so patient and apologized several times. They handled it well and we appreciated their positivity during stressful circumstances. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was good and had a wide variety of food, and beds were comfy! "

"The Moonrise is a nice enough hotel to stay at with some unique features, such as the man made moon replica and the light up staircase. Other than that, though, it is pretty average. It is also geared more toward adults than families so if you have young kids, bear that in mind. Beds were fine, although one mattress in our Executive Queen is about due for replacement judging by the dips, and the room was large, nicely furnished, and cleaned when we arrived. The internet went out for almost a full 24 hours with no explanation and that means no tv in this hotel since they don't use an antenna. Not a huge deal but I like background noise while I get ready for the day, and as I drift off to sleep. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the location means I will likely stay here again when I visit family - but I will look for a better room rate than I got this time if possible."

"My family was traveling from Pensacola, FL to Minneapolis, MN this past weekend. On Saturday we agreed to drive until we couldn't drive anymore. We booked a room in St Louis and made our way there. Upon arrival I was told that I had reserved for the following weekend. We were all exhausted and now didn't know what to do. Shyra was at the front desk and she was amazing. She kept mom (me) calm and helped us work with Expedia to change the room to that night. What could have ended as a terrible evening ended up being one of the best hotel experiences of the trip. My 10 year old daughter talked about how nice she was and how much she liked her every time we walked past the desk until the moment we left. To top it off, she made sure we were fed the next morning with breakfast. Shyra, I hope you see this. Know that you made a huge difference for us on our trip home and we appreciate you. Have fun in Wisconsin dells!"
