"Ryan Cider and Bourbon met us as we parked. My dog Arthur quickly befriended the other 2 dogs. Ryan greeted us and showed us around the grounds and house. The views are spectacular. The house itself is tastefully furnished and items are clearly labeled. Amenities are top-notch and well thought out. There are multiple spices, coffee and cooking oil. The beds are extremely comfortable and we sleep soundly. We did not want to leave the house!! I enjoyed meeting the tortoise and viewing the koi pot....

The neighborhood was nice, quiet and the neighbors were welcoming. Local to everything we enjoy while in Morro Bay. Easy to check in and out of. Would like to visit here again. "Grand view with fair price. Rooms are spacious, kids love pool table. And adults enjoys hill views. A few issues As other reviewers mentioned, hot bath water are on short supply Bath tub slide doors on 2nd bathroom are stuck and cant shut. Probably more on potentially damaging property than inconvenience for guests Carpet on kids room keep shedding wools, please consider to replace "

"This place is very cute! The kitchen remodel is adorable and was well stocked with everything you’d need. The upstairs bathroom was remodeled and has a really nice shower. I will say the downstairs bathroom leaves a lot to be desired and no one really wanted to shower down there. It also felt like the basement is a bit haunted. "The location, the house, the neighbors, and the host were all great! There were a few early hiccups that were, in all honesty, my fault (always read EVERYTHING before booking), but James was gracious and willing to work through my misses to make our stay amazing. Minus some cobwebs and floors that could have been a wee-bit cleaner (oh, and some aluminum foil would've been nice :-) ) the house was perfect and afforded us a great place to return after our daily adventures. HIGHLY recommend this...

"Spent a wonderful long weekend at this special property. There were 4 couples so we each had our own bedroom with bath. Scott the owner was very accommodating and filled us in on various activities in the area. I highly recommend this property and look foward to staying here again."

"Our family of 6 loved this house! It was perfect for our boating trip. The house was clean, with updated decor, spacious, had comfortable beds in every room, and had everything we needed (including all the kitchen necessities... which we used a ton). We spent hours sitting on the shaded deck, enjoying the amazing view of the lake and gully beneath, in between boating runs, and walked the neighborhood in the evenings. It felt like we were on a retreat. An added bonus was the boat/trailer...

"Clean and comfortable"

"This was perfect for us with our young child and dog. It's a quiet neighborhood, which suited us just perfectly. We choose this as it's close to our family, whom we were visiting. It was a great spot for us and would come back for sure."

"The cottage is perfect for 2 and very quiet. There is access to the beach a few blocks away and the drive to local restaurants in Cayucos or Morro Bay is very short and Sea Shanty is a short walk for some excellent food in large portions."
