Bed and Breakfast in Caribbean Coast

"One of the best, if not the best hotel in terms of esthetics, privacy and customer service I have experienced. I had the bungalow with my own private pool. The Num restaurant served fresh delicious balanced meals(kind of pricy tho). Breakfast was amazing, filling and included in your stay. The staff always had a smile and were eager to help when in need. Housekeeping was daily with fresh towels, the location of the hotel was walking distance from restaurants, the beach, taxis, TikTok’s and stores including supermarkets. Playa negra is like a 5 minutes walk, playa cocles like a 25 minutes walk but on bike like 10 minutes and many other beaches. The jaguar animal rescue center is like a 20-25 minute biking. And cacao farm and tour is 10 minutes walk. Loved the hotel will definitely go back. Only problem were the insects at times will find their way in the room but it’s expected since you are around lots of plants and trees.give this hotel a 5 star for sure!!"

"This place was amazing.. the pictures Travelocity has doesnt do the place justice. The staff soooo friendly they go abvoe and beyond..not just one or two but all the staff. They have a turtle pond to see turtles and fish as well as frogs. Their cat oreo is so sweet and a fun addition for guests. We were able to see about 4 sloths on the property. The maintenence staff always kept an eye and then showed the guests where they were making the experience really nice. Not one problem w this place.. beautiful lovely, chill, fun things to see, great suggestions of what to do from staff.. we really loved this place and had a great experience. They furthermore provided a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and a token for another drink when we were ready. "

"Amazing, very high quality hotel for a good price. Short walk across the street to the restaurant and a paradisiac beachfront. Pools are well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and activities. Cannot recommend Le Cameleon enough!"

"Beautiful property with the ocean just a few yards away. The grounds were filled with amazing plants and animals--howler monkeys, tucans, dart frogs, agouties--and while the ocean could be a bit rough, the tide pools were sandy bottomed and deep enough to swim in without being hit by waves. Fabulous all around!"

"Had an amazing two nights stay here. Wish it would have been longer. In a. Wry cozy private culdesac. Convenient walk to the main Puerto Nuevo strip. Room is pleasant, comfortable and very clean."

"We loved our stay, very friendly hotel. Beautiful Island. We had to travel for two of the days back and forth to Torteguero so missed out on two nights. Easier to be in San Jose for our flights. Hotel said they would refund the days. "

"This place is an oasis in the rain forest! Beautiful grounds and the staff and owner were the best! Water taxis and walking is how you get around. Ton's of wildlife and a great experience! I would call it "rustic elegance". Just one item that may bother others is there is no climate control in the rooms. That did not bother us since they all have ceiling fans, but it may be a consideration of some."
