"House was very large, bedrooms where spacious & bedding was clean & fresh, kitchen had lots of utensils & crockery but was short of forks, spoke to host & more was supplied quickly, location is fantastic, with lots of lovely walks, there are a few thing that could do with a bit of maintenance ie; a few door hinges need fixing"

"The location is great, yes the kitchen is outside, but its not a deal breaker, the kitchen was clean and tidy, previous comments suggested no heating in the bathroom, this wasn't the case, the property has full central heating and the water was very hot. Yes the decor is a little dated, but we used the property as a base, and weren't there to rate the standard of decor. Yes, the kitchen would benefit from an airfryer but again the fact that they didn't have one didn't spoil the trip. Would I use...

"The place was quite small and very old fashioned, advertised as having a kitchen but that was outside and round a corner and none of the appliances worked and it was ill-equipped, I would not stay here and again and would not recommend it to anyone. Also quite expensive considering the standard"

"What a lovely property - it did exactly what it said on the tin! There was loads of room for everyone to be together or doing different things - the games room and conservatory were particular favourites. The house was spotless and extremely well equipped - the kitchen had absolutely everything that we needed. The host was really friendly and helpful and on hand if we had any problems. It was definitely the right place for a multi age multi family break - thank you."

"Fantastic trip with family. Lots of walking and days out. Tideswell is lovely. Lots of pubs, a cafe and a couple of restaurants.Also a Coop in village and a couple of fish and chip shops. House is ideally placed. Easy parking and everything you need in cottage. Would love to go back."

"The house was easy to find and only 6/7 mins walk into town ,the house was beautiful the photos don’t do it justice,the hot tub was a clean and hot ; the only down side was it could of done with some sort of lighting outside around the hot tub as we stayed at the end of Oct and it was dark around 7 o’clock ,otherwise we couldn’t fault anything else."

"This property has character and is very close to the centre of Buxton. There are plenty of pubs in walking distance as well as take-out and a Sainsbury's local. We were a party of eight adults and it worked well. Everything was serviceable and good value for the price. Instructions were clear and Sue was attentive, making sure we had received all the information we needed. We had two cars and one fitted in the garage, which is suitable for a smaller car. "Stunning cottage, mattress was a little uncomfortable and old, sofa wasnt very comfortable. But beautiful place. Shower kept tripping the switch but was getting sorted. Would definitely stay again. Thank you ❤️"

My husband was directing a show for the Gilbert and Sullivan festival and several of our housemates were in the show. They felt like they were living in luxury! "We enjoyed a comfortable stay here. The flat is well appointed and cosy. The bathroom is a real luxury too. Pre arrival info was poor and we had difficulty accessing the key safe but eventually worked it out. The lack of parking during office hours was frustrating but manageable. These two negatives shouldn’t put anyone off staying as it was a great location and really nice flat. "
