"The accommodation itself was good. Comfy bed, good pillows. Nicely renovated room, carpet was a bit dirty. The room smelled clean. Nice bathroom. Very friendly people at the desk. The check out time is 10. I asked for 11 when we checked in and was told, yes, 11 or even 11:30 would be fine. Really good Indian restaurant within walking distance for dinner. And also a McDonalds the other way, close by for breakfast. My only complaint is that there was no working television. The guy at the front...

"We stayed at Barton's Mill for two nights. Plentiful parking, room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy too. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, conditioner etc. We had a couple of lovely meals in the pub and the breakfast was fab too. The staff were lovely and welcoming. We liked the check out at 11 so we didn't feel the need to rush. We would definitely recommend staying here. A beautiful spot next to the river with lovely walks."

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"We had an amazing stay at the hotel for 2 nights. We had the family room which was great for travel with children as the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom (2 single beds) were separate from eachother. The grounds were quaint and peaceful! A trip to remember. Another great convenience was the Albury village store being just side by side with the hotel for all our extra needs! No one on site over night and no contact number given ICE. No one on site in the morning to check out and nowhere to leave key. just left in room . sash Windows in room do not stay open had to use a cup to hold it up. no fan or aircon. TV had splashes all over screen. Bathroom dirty. Glasses had dirty rim...

"All was good with our stay however we only had one towel and one cup/ hospitality items- we raised this as we left and were told they didn’t know 2 people were staying although said : on Booking Also we were surprised to be charged £10 for onsite parking just for one night it seemed excessive "

"It’s a pub with rooms at the back, not the biggest but perfectly functional. Very hot in the room, could do with a fan maybe? The lady behind the bar got a little flustered, made a call and got it sorted. Also very European when it came to bar service. Overall will stay again if needed"
