Ascott, Spas in Bangkok

This is the first time I stayed at a service apartment and I must say that I am very impress with Ascott Sathorn. It has the amenities & facilities of a service apartment coupled with the service standard of a hotel. Ascott Sathorn is very centrally located within the Bangkok CBD and near to Cong Nongsi BTS sky-train station. Going to shopping and entertainment districts such as Siam Central and Sukhumvit is a breeze. Comes with a full-fledged kitchen with induction hob equipped with all the crockery (bowls, plates, pots, pans), cutlery and utensils you will ever need on your trip and a bar counter. There are also washing machine and dryer if you choose to wash your own laundry and needed to dry them quickly. Daily housekeeping is included. You can order food via room service and I must say that the standard of food is quite good. There are also a few dishes suitable for vegetarian like myself. There is also a swimming pool and spa available, but I did not have time to enjoy them. There is also a mini-mart within the compound, in case you need to stock up on your daily needs. Lastly, the rooms are spacious and each with its own very spacious bathroom with tub. Balcony overseas the CBD area of Bangkok. Not all apartments come with balcony though. In essence, Ascott Sathorn has set an extremely high benchmark for other service apartments and hotels to follow. If you have the budget and traveling in pair or group, Ascott Sathorn definitely makes your money well worth!
