Excellent in all aspects

Very well appointed rooms esp the ones overlooking the river with excellent amenities. Special shout out to the staff who are friendly, helpful and considerate. Man, Hobbie, Mila, New, Piaow and others in the team were all hard working and provided excellent service.

Lovely place

Lovely hotel close to many restaurants, easy access to river tours. Pool was closed when we were there which was a surprise…not a particularly pleasant one but ok. The room was lovely but I wouldn’t pay again for a balcony river view…average view at best…perhaps the location though. Staff were fabulous. We didn’t eat there. Very comfortable room.

Perfect room for the start of our honeymoon. Long balcony overlooking the river. Curtains that blocked out the sun. Room was quiet even with parties and boats going on. Staff highly attentive.

Riva Surya has a beautiful location, and exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. The restaurant is open all day, and has a variety of dishes that are very well prepared. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, to the pool, as well to the rooms. Periodic maintenance is of course necessary, and it is unfortunate if one encounters it during one’s stay, but on the bright side, I think Riva Surya will be an exceptional place to stay when the work is completed.

Great Experience.

Great costumer service. Very quiet and close to everything. My only recommendation will be to have a spa room. I had a Thai Traditional massage which was great but they used the area next to the pool and it was noisy since there were kids at the pool, plus they used the sofas that are not a massage bed. So they definitely need a spa room. Overall great hotel.

Brilliant bolt hole for Bangkok

From the momemt we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles all round. Nothing was too much trouble. Check in was a breeze. The room was spotless and housekeeping attended every day of our 4 night stay. Do use reception to book a taxi as they arrange for it to be "meter only" which saves you money. Its well situated for all activities and good. A brilliant bolt hole for a Bangkok stay

Everyone at the property was extremely nice from the porter at the door to housekeeping. They are attentive, always willing to help. I am a solo female traveler and felt extremely safe. The hotel will call a taxi for you and in 2 minutes driver will come to the parking lot. I did not explore the area around the hotel. This hotel is relatively close to the temples, far from the mall BMK. There is a restaurant onsite, I ordered a soup and it was excellent, friend rice was ok, delivery to my room very fast and courteous. My room faces the river. Room is nice and comfortable. Internet is fast

Great location. Nice hotel. Although we were put in a room with a river view right but over the hotel swimming pool. All people relaxing under the cabana could look into our room on 1st floor. The hotel is a short walk to river Ferry and to Khao San Road and surrounds. Charming district of Bangkok. Would recommend Riva Surya as its value for money in a great location.
