"Our checkin was good. Agent arrived just as we exited our taxi. Having an elevator in an older building was a plus. The room was clean , quiet but quite spartan on amenities. Someone had forgotten to turn up the water heater so cool shower our first night, but a quick response to my call the next morning. Great coffee and breakfast spot right across the street. "

"We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Lisboa Pessoa hotel. The room was small (which I expected given location) but clean and well presented. The bed was comfortable, which was great as I have a bad back and often struggle when we travel. The free mini bar was a lovely extra touch. The location was perfect - easily walkable to Baixa-Chiado metro (5-10 minutes) and same for getting Tram 28, as well as local sites. We were meeting friends for dinner the one night we stayed, and the location was excellent for our chosen meeting spot and restaurant. We were only disappointed that we didn't have longer there to be able to try out the spa/pool and the bar. The roof restaurant however was wonderful for breakfast in the morning - we sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful view across the rooftops to the castle. The hotel also let us store our luggage the morning before check-in so we didn't have to drag it around all day, which we appreciated. The only small thing would be that I'd appreciate an earlier check-in than 4pm, however the hotel really made it work with the luggage, said they'd call if the room was ready earlier, and the luggage was already in the room for us when we arrived back to check-in which was really thoughtful. I'd definitely consider staying here again if we returned to Lisbon."
