Close to Chichester and beaches but immersed in the countryside which meant utter peace during both day and night. "We had a 3 night family stay with our dog for New Year and this property was perfect for us. Quiet residential area. Dog exercise at the park just a few minutes walk away. Bus stop very close by if you don't have/don't want to use the car; personally we enjoyed the walk to Gunwharf Quay. A short drive to Southsea Prom and everything it has to offer. Beds were comfy and the living/cooking/eating area provided all we needed for a few days. Option to have a bath or shower is a great addition. Just...

"Our stay at Mariner’s cottage was one of several stays across Europe on this trip. It was one of the most memorable for it’s quaintness, originality and decoration. The cottage was very well stocked with everything we needed. There are amenities all within walking distance - groceries, bakery, butcher, and fantastic pubs and restaurants. "Couldn’t ask for a better location. Smack in the middle of everything in town and only a 7-8 min walk from the station. Apartment was very clean and well presented. Iron and hairdryer included. The only real downside was the thin windows in the property that didn’t block a lot of the outside noise. Some of the rowdy pub goers (of which I was one!) could be very noisy in the early hours. If you’re a heavy sleeper, you’ll be fine, but light sleepers or couples that aren’t there for heavier...
