"Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks....

"Very clean and comfortable. Have restaurant at the property. Breakfast was super awesome. Have bike rental and located near the flower gardens. Staffs were super kind and helpful. Only issue was that checking in timing is not 24 hour. "

"This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler....

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"This property is at a convenient location. Distance to shopping and dining areas are walkable and the environment is beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed a stroll in the morning. Owner was kind and offered to help us move the luggage. The room is spacious and classy. Bathroom is clean and modern. We love it."

It is near tram stops, making it easy to travel around the city. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, with a variety of restaurants within a few blocks walk. "The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "
