Great hotel for the price. Food was really good with plenty of meat options and seafood days. The main restaurant almost never closes, and even during breaks you can grab snacks by the pool. There are usually lines, but the staff works fast and really tries to keep things moving. You can book 3 à la carte restaurants — the Mediterranean was the best for us. The Japanese and Mexican were just okay. Drinks are good overall, with a nice all‑inclusive selection. The coffee shop opens at 6 AM which is great if you're leaving early, but the coffee itself is very weak — more like coffee‑flavored water. Beach is nice with strong waves and a bit of a pull near the shore, but farther out there’s a shallow sandbank where it’s calmer and fun to swim. Entertainment is solid: activities by the pool during the day, and evening shows in the theater. The lobby bar has live music, karaoke, etc. Our room was spacious with a pool/sea view, but a bit aged. We were near the floor’s water filtration system, which hummed loudly at night. Strong wind also made the ceiling vent rattle unless the balcony was closed. Spa was clean and relaxing with a good massage. There’s a bus stop right outside, very convenient. Overall: a very good value for what you pay.

This was my second time staying at Finest Playa Mujeres. My first visit was about 10 years ago when the resort had just opened, and I’m happy to say the quality has remained very good over the years. The service continues to be excellent. I especially want to recognize Jeremías at the bar and Julio at the Finest Club bar. Both were very kind and attentive and truly made our experience better. The drinks are even better than I remember from my first visit, and the food was also very good with plenty of variety. Like any place, there are always small things that could improve. When we visited Domo, the restaurant in the Finest Club area, the air conditioning was not working, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Also, at times there was only one bartender at certain bars, especially at the pool bar, which can be a lot for one person when it gets busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort. It works well for families because there are activities for children, but it also has adults-only areas for those looking for a quieter stay. I didn’t travel with my kids this time, so I can’t comment in detail on the children’s activities, but it was clear there were many options available. The ocean was visible from our balcony with the flags and a little bit of the city. It was beautiful and relaxing.

Disappointed to say the least. I knew about the seaweed. Did not know it would be a filthy dark, dirty beach with dump trucks and tractors going non stop across the beach. We were in the old part called "Sunrise" in the smallest room which smelled like paint in the bathroom and the whole time I just wanted some cleaner and a scrub brush to clean the shower. and although we paid for a "garden view" we found out all rooms faced the garden. Lots of pools, pool chairs, friendly staff but be prepared to be walked right over to the time share/moon palace club sales people right when you get there and offered $600 worth of "day passes" to the grand for sitting through a 90 minute class. No thank you. Food was not great. Breakfast and room service were the best. Very little to do if you want to be busy. Excursion and staff booking the excursions were 10/10. Family friendly if you want close to the airport and don't care about the ocean.

Felt a little extra pressure to buy in to the timeshare the first couple of days. Food was great and staff overall excellent!!! Room was spacious and clean. Great view!

While the property had great possibility, sadly the entire stay felt disjointed due to the way things are run. Example- rooftop pool that has no food/bar available…even though there is a restaurant on the rooftop. The hotel advertised that the rooftop bar was open at 3pm, yet we never saw any staff there until the restaurant prepped to open. The staff seemed undertrained and consistently put into circumstances where they were unsure of how to fulfill a request. Again, while the property was nice, I would not recommend returning until management irons out quite a few wrinkles.

Yes, the view was amazing. The rooms are alittle dated, but everything is very clean. The staff is incredible!
