The place was what we needed for a weekend of activities. If we were at the motel more then the lack of privacy between the master bedroom and the kids in the lounge would have been an issue. But since we were there to sleep it was fine. We did have dinner there one night and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Cooktop, electric frypan, kettle, toaster, microwave. Even had pots, Pyrex bowl for cooking with. If you care about the decor of a place then you are likely to find it ‘dated’. But I found the beds comfy, the room warm, the shower pressure amazing and plenty of hot water. Spa bath was great, although strange to have no privacy from bedroom or even the kids. Room was clean and they came each day to fix up. We had a city view but were on the bottom floor so you don’t view anything apart from your car, but again, we didn’t care. It’s close to everything and the walkway was just over the road to start our bike trips. There is issues with condensation on the windows/doors if it’s cold outside which maybe causes a little mould.
Would stay again for sure.
