Great room,clean ,very large and helpful staff.

Beautiful room, with a lovely outdoor area just steps away from the lake

The good side is the location, it’s in front of the lake and you can just walk down to the lake. Most places are walkable, just 10-15 mins walk from the centre. The facility is so so. But the problem is something’s wrong with the shower. Cold shower is fine but when I increase the temperature, the water pressure becomes too strong to the point it even hurts my skin. It’s crazy. And no tissue provided, only toilet paper in the bathroom. Not very convenient to check in. They don’t have onsite reception and the only option is to call the property. When we arrived, we were struggling to open the lockbox and called the property for help. The first staff that I talked to wasn’t patient, friendly or helpful at all. Don’t really feel welcomed. Overall experience is not bad but not good as well. I don’t think I will stay there next time.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Lake Taupo lodge. Spacious room and very beautiful space. Breakfast were top notch too! Thank you so much for the awesome memories :)
