The Dorsett is a pleasant hotel, clean, comfortable, and with very agreeable staff. It offers a good shuttle service between 10am and 6pm to 5 major points of interest.
The room was fine, with great shower pressure, quite well noise-insulated, but if people in nearby rooms are determined to be obnoxiously loud for hours into the night, few hotels can combat that. For us, it was only one night out of nine, though. The room was ok for two, not cramped, but with limited seating. We were happy with it. The bathroom area is behind frosted glass next to the bed.
Breakfast was varied, with both Western and Asian hot components, plus fruit, juice, pastries - more than adequate for typical travellers.
Housekeeping staff were excellent: efficient and unobtrusive.
I'd be very happy to return here.
