"We had a lovely stay at Riu Caribe. The staff were very friendly, especially Javier at the front desk. The check-in process was smooth, and Javier gave us a very detailed explanation of everything we needed to know.
We arrived at the hotel early and expected to wait a few hours until our rooms were ready. My mum has mobility issues, and the early flight had been quite difficult for her. Javier went the extra mile and managed to get one of our two rooms ready early so she could rest and enjoy the start of her stay with less discomfort. We really appreciated his kindness and effort.
In terms of amenities, I was a little disappointed that some essentials I would normally expect from a five-star hotel, such as slippers and toothbrushes, were not provided. I understand this may be for environmental reasons, but it would be helpful if guests were reminded in the pre-check-in emails so they can bring their own.
The food options were diverse, which was great. However, some dishes were either too salty or too sweet. Overall, the food was okay, but there is room for improvement.
The beach was awesome: wide, clean, and very easy to access. It was also convenient to get beverages nearby.
The parties were great as well, with four different themed parties throughout the week. I only wish I could have stayed longer!"
