Storybook Chalet inside Yosemite National Park

"Our overall stay was good.The upstairs bed needs repairs to themetal canopy structure. The bed creakedevery time we moved or turned over.The cold water faucet in the upstairs mastersuite did not work. Down stairs 2nd bedroom has a hole in the ceiling with possible slow water drip down. The sliding screen door was not operational.Hand rails for outdoor stairs need refinishing and repairsto prevent splinters and injury from exposed screw heads. But we enjoyed being able to stay close to an event for convenience andloved being in Yosemite."

"Cedar Lodge is a fairly convenient place to stay to visit Yosemite National Park. It's a good value for the price, I believe. The only downsides I found were: a) no free coffee in the lobby, unlike many hotels. Room coffee was rather weak and bland, but I brought my own instant to supplement it. b) internet wifi was e excellent for our room, but they warn it could be different. There's no cellphone service (for us at least) at the Lodge. c) I was delighted that they had a gym (to do my daily PT) but the two bicycles had no 'easy' setting. People who have had injury histories, or people who want to recover from a hard hike, would like to have a bike that they can 'spin' easily. Also, while I'm asking for everything, some weight machines would have been nice. d) We visited in September, and I did swim in the large (cold!) outdoor pool, I was shivering when I got out. I know this is asking a lot, but a heated outdoor pool for those of us who swim laps would be ideal. I realize this is a 'wish list', maybe unrealistic, but here it is."

"Awesome! Only thing was the hot water wasn’t working so the shower was an eye opener, but maintenance said they would have taken care of it right away. Only stayed for a day so didn’t matter too much either way or it would have been a 5 star stay. Would stay again."

"A mix of temps and skies, we got to enjoy the last days of summer swimming in the river, beautiful hikes, and communal dinners outside on the deck at the huge table. Enjoyed the raven pair and the piano too! A lovely stay with friends and family. Thank you!"
