Clean and spacious room. It kinda expensive in ski season, but still the best choice at Zao, Yamagata. Smoking room is near the lobby, which is a really bad design, you can smell the stinks every time before taking the elevator. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great staff. Close to the ski lifts. Very enjoyable. Recommend ordering the hotel dinners ahead of time unless you plan on dining in Yamagata (30 min drive).

Great staff. Delicious food. Shuttle schedule does not coordinate with train schedule. Even the public bus schedule. We came in from Sendai and just missed public bus. Had to wait an hour. For the shuttle bus it was almost a 2 hour wait.

Wonderful onsen hotel.
We have great time at the hotel. Dinner is perfect. Very delicious and full course. Everything is OK. Just quite far from the bus station.

There were 2 onsens on service which were great. But I was not told by the check in staff that I could also enjoy other nearby onsens :(

Comfortable stay
Service was very good. We were picked up at bus station very soon after we informed the hotel of our arrival. Room was clean and spacious. Futon was nice to sleep on. Onsen was good. Meals were delicious, especially the grilled beef.

The onsen in the hotel was closed and need to walk about 70m to the onsen outside the hotel. You get wet when it rains.

Relaxing Hot Spring Baths and Wonderful Service
Very clean and well-kept hotel in Zao, with generous rooms. Perfect for ski-trips or just for a relaxing weekend. Zao is not a big town, so the location is perfect if you want a bit more quiet place in walking distance of the ropeway. Free shuttle to and from the bus terminal goes frequently, available on request. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Despite the fact that we already had checked out in the morning, we could still use the hot spring bath when we came to the hotel to pick up our luggage in the afternoon, after a day of hiking.

スタッフの方がとても印象が良い。 ウェルカムで部屋の冷蔵庫にフルーツが冷やしてあるのにも驚いた。 横倉ゲレンデが歩いていける距離なのでスキー目的の宿泊でも問題ない

よいホテル。選んで良かった。
清潔感があるホテル。ラウンジでドリンクやアイスキャンディー、コーヒーやチョコレートを自由に利用できて、おもてなし感が嬉しかった。マンガや本、ゲームもあって、家族でゆったり過ごせた。お風呂は適温で良かったが、人によっては物足りない？！離れの硫黄の温泉良かった。スタッフのさりげない会話が温かく、おもてなし感が嬉しい。ディナーの米沢牛・山形牛が特に美味しかった。一泊だけだったので、あっという間。とても素敵は思い出に残る宿泊になった。コインランドリーは、台数をもう少し増やしたり、最新型の物にしてもいいかな。

離れの露天風呂に又行きたいです。

14時チェックインに合わせてホテルに、ゆっくりしたいと思い温泉が良さそうだったので、こちらのホテルを選びました。 部屋が空いているのでとランクアップしていただいたお部屋のベッドは大変気持ちよく快適！ 温泉は想像以上に良くお肌ツルツルに！ 温泉の後は無料のドリンクとアイスでのんびり… 朝食のみのプランでしたが、品数豊富でどれも美味しく頂きました！ 感染対策もしっかりされていて館内全てがとても清潔感がありました！ ぜひまた来たいと思うホテルでした。
「木もれ陽に憩う」 その通りでした！

コストパフォーマンスがとても良いホテル
山形からバスで蔵王ターミナルまで行きました。到着して電話するとすぐに迎えに来ていただきました。料理は地元の食材、山菜が多くてとてもおいしいかったです。温泉は館内の温泉はもとより、徒歩1分にある外湯もとても良かったです。山頂まで行けるロープウェイまでは徒歩5分の距離にあり、とても便利でした。
