"Room as clean, however the cottages come with a warning of mice potentially in the room along with other insects... Your in the woods so it is understandable especially if you leave your patio door open. Regarding the cottages they are nice and scenic and quite but PRO TIP the further you are away from the main lodge the less wi-fi works to the point of non existent. We experienced the issue and sadly the router could not be reset until another room checked out a day after we checked out. The staff needs more training as they gave us plenty of excuses and no real resolutions, plus they said security would call the phone in our room before coming to the room to repair the safe which was not working but there are no phones in the room or at least our cottage room. They did come out to repair the safe and after they were there the safe still did not work. The bathroom is tiny but that's the nature of the design. Drinks in the bar were great and reasonably priced. Service staff was good but not great. Dinner in the Mural room was excellent both food and service. Wines were temperature controlled a great thing as hot red wines are not appealing. Kudos to the Sommelier on the selection and storage! Management of the hotel addressed our concerns and bought us breakfast Sunday morning in the Mural Room which was very good. However one issue of note the oatmeal was set up with the hot food and yet the toppings were on a separate table with the cold food, need more training."

"This completely refurbished motel is one of our favorites. The staff are warm and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, the continental breakfast is satisfying, and the motel is serious about safety. All this at a competitive price. All the amenities are there - fridge, microwave, good WIFI, hairdryer, soap, shampoo, lotion. There's little touches, like wash cloths folded in a fan, an alarm with extra power and USB outlets. Included in the breakfast are: cereals, hot waffle maker, toaster, breads, bagles, sweet rolls, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, cream cheese, jellies, half and half, flavored creamers, regular and decaf coffee, hot tea, cocoa. Up to two dogs are welcome, for a fee. Cats? No cats! The main line of the Union Pacific railroad is across the street, and trains rumble past, but I guess the sound proofing is good enough that they aren't noticable. The motel sits right by the intersection of I-25 and I-80. Access to the interstate highways is immediate. There are good restaurants nearby, including an excellent Mexican restaurant, Tres Amigos."

"Staff was friendly and the location was nice for access to visiting Lamar Valley, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Artist Point, Hayden Valley. There were a few different restaurants and we learned this is due to the restaurants also providing services for Campgrounds in the same area. Restaurant and store was a bit crowded. The rooms were nice and we liked the outdoor porch area attached to the room. Internet was not working at all. They did have free charging stations for hybrid and electric vehicles."
