There was a comprehensive selection for breakfast, which was pleasing to see. The quality was lacking, but given that it was included with the stay, I cannot complain too much. "Sixth time visiting here, first time with the name change and its still just as good. Love the new neon sign outside. Staff were very friendly, check in was nice and quick at the self check in machines and the rooms are clean and spacious for the price."

"Unfortunately I booked through the Hotels.com app and I paid more than the basic thistle express room thinking I was getting a bigger bed. Turns out I had the basic single room. As usual. The staff are brilliant. The bed is comfortable. And the rooms are spotless. It won’t stop me staying again. In fact I’ve already booked for Christmas week. "

"Stayed there for one night as we had an early flight. Room nice, hotel very close to the airport so it’s only a short walk. Was pleasantly surprised that they served breakfast from 3am in the morning- amazing! The only downside was that we had to walk down the stairs with heavy luggage to come up onto the pavement and walk to the airport"
