"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff team were super helpful and the buffet breakfasts were a great start to the day. If you have chance to get the tram into the town centre you will find a wonderful and charming town with lots to do and see. This is a really nice hotel. "
"Elke and Wout are lovely. They are generous, kind, and sensitive hosts. Their home is beautiful. You will be treated to big breakfasts served on lovely China with delicious homemade bread, eggs from their own chickens, homemade jams, locally made cheeses and various meats. Dinner is also fantastic and Wout does a perfect blue steak, wonderful fish dishes and his frites are fantastic! The Dining Room has a wonderful aspect. One of the only remaining medieval castles in Flanders, this historic fortress provides a fascinating insight into the weaponry, culture, and drama of Ghent’s past.
"We only stayed at this hotel for one night. After a long drive, we arrived with no real expectations when booking—our main priorities were having secure parking (note: there’s a €10 fee) and being reasonably close to Ghent city centre.
What we loved about this hotel is that from the moment you walk into reception, it feels clean, modern, and welcoming.
The family room we booked was surprisingly spacious and bright—I honestly didn’t expect to get such a large room for a family. More hotels should take note and offer proper double beds for families! The room even had a comfortable seating area, which was a great bonus.
The only minor downside was the lack of hair conditioner. I always wonder why, in this day and age, hotels don’t provide it as standard. Many travellers rely on small travel-sized bottles, so finding it in a hotel always feels like a thoughtful touch.
Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again.

"Staff was accommodating and friendly, let us store luggage before check in and shared where to find bike rentals. The location was ideal and easy to walk to from the train station. Included breakfast was a bonus."
"We stayed one night at this hotel and had just the best time. The hotel is beautiful with lovely comfortable rooms and is in a great location where all the sights of Ghent are within walking distance. Highly recommend and would come back. "
"Love the interior of this property, the color pairing makes me feel aesthetic. The small kitchen unit is very useful to me and it comes with all the equipment I need to do simple cooking. The separated nook in the corner for working and eating is very nice. The bed and comforter are so comfy. Bathroom size is great and the shower is strong enough. I love the high ceiling, making the space feel more roomy. I do wish the lights are brighter but at least there is a big window. Great location to easily walk into the old town. An amazing vegan brunch place nearby called Madam Bakster. "
