"When we arrived, the only sign on the door was in Flemish. After using google translate, we tried all 3 bells as instructed but got no answer. We had to look up on Expedia to find the telephone number. The owner answered, and said a neighbour would be along shortly to let us in. He hung up on me whilst i was asking about the promised parking. The neighbour was pleasant but spoke only Flemish- i speak English, French, German, italian and Danish- so communication was hard. I had chosen this b&b...

Even then the bedroom seemed a bit dark at night, which would be wonderful for a romantic encounter, but is a bit of a problem for other...
