This was exactly what we needed for our short trip. We stayed one night here but I think this hotel can be ideal for more than one night. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful with everything - it wasn't our first time in Ghent so we know our way around but they did check with us and we're prepared to tell us about the city. The reviews did not lie about the breakfast. It is so good. Everything is super fresh, tasty and filling. I would book again just for the breakfast, it's also great value for money. The bed was comfortable, the Aircon in the room was working properly which was important as we came during a heatwave. They also have parking but we came on a motorbike so didn't need to use it. I would definitely recommend especially since we tried many other hotels in Ghent and in Belgium. This is also great location as it's super close to the center but quiet enough for a much needed rest in the evening. I would book again.

Het is natuurlijk een Ibis, goede lokatie, kleine kamer, hele kleine badkamer. Maar goed bed en goede douche. Beneden in de lobby bar en voetbalspel. Het ontbijt was goed met echte verse sinaasappels sap, wel zelf persen.

It’s not the most fancy hotel or the most fancy area, but it’s absolutely doing the job. It’s not very expensive and it’s close to the areas, you want to visit. Beside this it’s in walking distance from the train station. Breakfast is good.

We booked a 2 twin room and we were given an accessible room with a queen/double and a twin. Room was clean but a little dated. Air conditioner was on a timer that would cut out at night and we were there during a heat wave so it did get quite warm even at night. Walkable to all the sights in the area (castle, towers, etc.). Tram system also stops nearby. Overall good stay.

Hotel placed near lots of lovely places to eat and see. Staff were very helpful, rooms easily accessable via the lift. The room was clean and well maintained. I felt secure in this hotel and in my room. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, there was something for everyone.
