10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The creek and property are beautiful, the cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the appliances and cooking utensils needed, and the host was awesome at providing directions and helping me navigate the area. I would definitely love to stay here again."

Waterfall Wilderness Retreat Bordering the Ozark National Forest

"Coming from a big, busy city, this place couldn't have been a more perfect getaway to sit and reflect in the peace and beauty of nature. The cabin was very well taken care of and clean and well stocked with amenities (coffee makers, pots and pans, utensils, etc). The only thing that was a little difficult to find was a dumpster to take trash on the way out. We had an incredible experience and can't wait to come back!"

A Wagon Cabin on the Mulberry River, Oark Arkansas

A Wagon Cabin on the Mulberry River, Oark Arkansas

10/10 Excellent
"This cabin is incredibly unique as well as adorable! We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. The location is rather remote, so getting anywhere that isn't on the mountain takes a while but that was part of the appeal for us. The cabin was really cold at first, but turning the AC off and then back on again made it super comfortable. It was a lovely trip!"

Quiet, Private, 2 acres to enjoy and still close to everywhere you want to go.

Quiet, Private, 2 acres to enjoy and still close to everywhere you want to go.

10/10 Excellent
"Patricia is the most thoughtful host. She goes above and beyond with communication and you can tell she has a lot of love for the history of the house and the work that has been put in to restoring and preserving this gem of local history. I absolutely LOVED the house, loved reading the history of the house. My family has lived in the area for many, many generations so it helped me feel even more connected with my own family history. A few things to note that may be helpful for future travelers. By NO MEANS are these negatives, but just things some folks might like to know of. 1) this is an old home, with old home character and charm. The floors are a bit uneven in some places, which might be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. Personally, I loved the hardwood floors, I loved sitting in the living room and letting my imagination take me back to what it might have been like all those years ago when the original owners were building and making names for themselves. 2) the yard is not fenced, however, there are plenty of trees you can run a tie out from one tree to another if you don’t want to leash walk your dog. My old Great Dane never wanders away so this was not an issue for me and it afforded us the opportunity to see a buck in the backyard early one morning. The pool and the AC were WONDERFUL to cool off in the hot July/August heat. Hands down I will stay here again whenever I’m in the area, if it’s available!"

Secluded cabin on the Kings river at Marshall Ford. Private and beautiful river

Secluded cabin on the Kings river at Marshall Ford. Private and beautiful river

8/10 Good
"The cabin itself was lovely. So cute and had all of the amenities listed. The upstairs air conditioner works, but makes a noise that isn’t conducive for sleeping when it’s a few inches from your head. There is a grill, but it’s very old and rusted. My only complaint is the amount of trash around the property-I actually ended up taking trash bags to the river to help clean up. This is a perfect fall/winter getaway but I wouldn’t recommend at the height of dry season. The river was incredibly low, hot, and stagnant."
