Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. What a gem of a location too! Tip, if you stay Sunday night, a lot of the fun restaurants are closed but there are still a few great ones open. Casa Alejo is so yummy! Everything about The Star is great! I can’t wait to come back.
I booked this a little last minute and was in a bit of a hurry when I did so. I did not notice that this is a self check-in, no staff on site accommodation. Not a problem for us, but I was not prepared for the “check-in” process. After checking my email and obtaining the code for the door, we still could not get the front outside door open. I called the number on the door and had to leave a message. Thankfully, in the meantime a woman who was also staying at the hotel let us in the door. There is a bit of a trick to opening the door, which admittedly, was outlined in the email, but my travel weary, bone tired self missed that part. I was admittedly frustrated but I can’t blame this on the hotel. However, what I was disappointed in was that no one, ever during our stay called back to ensure that we made it inside or could answer any questions. Perhaps, the system allowed them to see that we were able to enter after all - or maybe they just didn’t care.
Despite this, the hotel was lovely, quiet, clean and comfortable. The room was well appointed. Downtown Springdale was also lovely with plenty of local restaurants and shops.
The Star on Spring was one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed! It smelled amazing. Every detail had been thought of, even the towels and hairdryers were top of the line! They made our anniversary trip so special. The area around the hotel is such a cute, up and coming place area. Lots to do within a few blocks. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know! Thanks for a great weekend!
When looking for a place to stay in Fayetteville, everything was too expensive for my short trip so I chose The Star on Spring in Springdale which is literally down the street. It was so convenient! The hotel is on a side street in a cute town square area. Plenty of food options and shopping in walking distance. The hotel check in is easy with a code to the front & back door as well as the room. The hotel was very clean and stylish and looks fairly new. No windows inside the room made sleeping quiet and nice! Would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The communication issues were on my end. Read the message you get from the hotel carefully - in it you’ll find important check-in info that will allow you to get in, find your room, and get the door access code. If it gets lost in the shuffle it will be a very confusing check-in process because there’s no one there to check you in.
