But the walk back up from the lake was hard on us. My husband has copd and i had hip surgery not long ago. Just wish there was a better way up and down. But we give it all in all. A 99 out of 100. "We had a wonderful time exploring the property and hearing the history. The staff went above an beyond before even asking. The food was excellent. The spa was relaxing. The best part was that we had something to do at the hotel at all times. While waiting for our next adventure, we were not just stuck waiting in our room. we visited with other guests, played games and relaxed in the many comfort areas in and around the hotel. A true resort. "

"This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are a little dated, but that was about it. The breakfast was hot and delicious and again, the breakfast room was very clean. The gentleman in charge of the breakfast kept eveything refilled and tables wiped down. Overall a great, clean place to stay."
