Quiet Sunny South Facing Lodge, Private Decking with Great views & Car Parking

"Lovely balcony overlooking the hills, with table & chairs. The road up to the chalet is a little narrow but compared to all the narrow roads in and around north Devon I expect it is nothing out of the ordinary for the locals. We met a couple of other vehicles where the other people reversed up for us. The beach is a little walk but well worth it. We went swimming every day and there are lovely cafes & shops. Chalet was very comfortable and would stay again."

"The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, can’t wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country. "We originally had a room in the main hotel which was large but we hadn’t spotted that they had lodges too. We upgraded to a lodge with hot tub for my wife’s 50th. Loved it. Well appointed and staff could not do enough for us. Went way above what was required and we are very grateful. Check in is in the coach house which is the restaurant. Now, food! Had breakfast there an evening meal and Sunday lunch. The standard is superb, loved it. The roast was huge and very very well done one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Excellent. Had a prawn starter both nights and that was spot on. Burger was nailed totally. Applause to the team. Breaky was always first class well presented and staff absolutely lovely Thanks for a great weekend"

"I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village."

"Lovely cottage set away from the main road so it’s incredibly peaceful and beautiful views over the hills when sitting outside. Everything you need is catered for including a good selection of dvd’s and books both for kids and adults for quiet evenings in. Short walk to a local shop and a bar/restaurant but worth noting the cottage is up a steep-ish hill. Great location short drive to a couple of beaches and the hosts were very quick to respond. Thanks for a lovely stay"

"The cottage is exactly what is detailed in the pictures, beautiful décor, high quality furniture and extremely comfortable bed with stunning views from each window (even when raining) Kitchen pretty well equipped and owners answered ccntact quicklyThe sound of the waterfall that runs down the side of the property is very peaceful and great for sitting and readingPlease note, there are steps to Flat 2 and they can be slippery. This property is in a valley, the road down is windy and there are not local amenities without driving out so be prepared to self cater here. No phone signal but strong wifi signal as part of the accommodation.If you are training or like hard cycling, this could be just the spot for you. It is stunning, and if you want peace and quiet, look no further"

"Was not the luxury we had hoped, tired lodge needs updating. Very quiet site, couldn’t eat dinner at the restaurant all week as their kitchen was flooded. Good job we had a kitchen although shops too far away to pop out if we forgot something."
