"We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"The North cliff hotel was a wonderful place to stay Lovely clean room and staff were very friendly and attentive , the breakfast was excellent cereal , fresh fruit & Greek yogurt and a full English breakfast The views were breath taking there was so much to see around Lynton & Lynmouth I will definitely be going back to visit"

"Great breakfast and best dinner in Lynmouth - you need to book as it stands out with its great chef making what sounds like usual pub grub on the menu quite special. Although our room was above the main pub area it is still quiet early enough for a good night’s sleep. Some people struggled with the very old, small and steep steps in building so if you have mobility issues it might be worth asking for a room accessible from the outside. Lovely, big room with harbour view. A little awkward to shower in a bath with no shower curtain or similar. Most of the staff came across as very stressed, service at both dinner and breakfast was slow and at times confused and unhelpful. There is one young woman who the owners should treasure and keep - she added a welcoming, friendly, human touch and was also the one that seemed to be on top of things"

"The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, can’t wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country. "Very welcoming host. Comfortable room with fabulous sea view. Great shower, a little warm overnight but we've had extreme temperatures. Breakfast cooked to order and really tasty. Location was great as we walked to the Valley of the Rocks straight from the hotel. Limited parking but we were saved a space nearby on the road. Would thoroughly recommend. Lovely spot, thank you 🙂"

"The cottage is exactly what is detailed in the pictures, beautiful dÃ©cor, high quality furniture and extremely comfortable bed with stunning views from each window (even when raining) Kitchen pretty well equipped and owners answered ccntact quicklyThe sound of the waterfall that runs down the side of the property is very peaceful and great for sitting and readingPlease note, there are steps to Flat 2 and they can be slippery. This property is in a valley, the road down is windy and there are not local amenities without driving out so be prepared to self cater here. No phone signal but strong wifi signal as part of the accommodation.If you are training or like hard cycling, this could be just the spot for you. It is stunning, and if you want peace and quiet, look no further"
