We were all so comfortable inside with the layout that gave each of us the privacy when we wanted and space for meal prep, dining, board games and hanging out together too. There were more than enough linen and towels.The location is truly minutes from the centre of Gravenhurst and also close to the activities we chose to engage in. "The stay was very good in terms of the scenery and location. It was close to a lot of amenities and activities. The host was very nice and friendly. The issues we faced with this location is that it was on a marina and it seemed more as though we were a part of the marina verses really enjoying the seclusion of water and forest. We were looking forward to a rustic retreat but instead found a property that has been neglected for a very long time.The cabin is in desperate need of repairs. The floors were noticeably crooked, The electrical system was not only faulty but also felt unsafe; the fuse box consistently shut down all power whenever we tried to use the heater. "Listing indicated it was 700 square feet. It is only 207 square feet We had to scramble to find another accommodation as well for the trip Manager and check in was great. The complete inaccuracy of the size of the unit made the experience terrible as finding another location was difficult not to mention an added expense"

"The cottage is very nicely set up with everything that you could need. It’s very clean and well-maintained.It’s a little far from any stores and can give a sense that it’s very secluded. The only place to go for a walk is on the gravel road. We came there to go fishing and found that there were not a lot of bites at all. While we did catch a few, it was not a very good lake for a fishing trip, which was our purpose. If you are not going for fishing then the lake is beautiful for swimming, etc....
