It was my first VRBO booking so naturally I was pretty anxious at first not hearing from them, but then once the check in information was provided, everything was nice and easy. "My friends and I enjoyed the labour day long weekend at this cozy cottage by the water. The property is beautiful, well maintained and allows you to see the sunset by the dock. The game room downstairs gave us something to do during those cold nights. The owner, Kimberly, did a great job providing the children with games and activities appropriate for their age. "This cottage was perfect for our mini vacation. It was close to the beach across the road, is right on the river which the kids loved fishing off the deck. The cottage had everything you need so all you have to bring is your personal things, fishing gear and beach toys. We stayed only for two nights but that was way to short. "Two bedrooms, no linens and towels (as stated in description), bring your soap and toilet paper. Coffee machine needs whole bean coffee. The air conditioning is in the living room only but it's very strong, if you leave bedroom doors open you might need a warmer blanket, so it's great. Warm water in the shower runs out after two quick showers until the boiler warms up some more. 1-2min walk to the beach. Found some shards of glass from bottles in the sand, near BBQ machine, so wear your flip...

"We were really happy with our 3 night stay - our kids shared the room with the bunk beds while the two adult couples split up the remaining two rooms. We spent most of our time out at the dock - swimming, fishing and kayaking. Only minor point for improvement is the need for a few more outdoor chairs but otherwise the property was fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen made the experience seamless. We'd definitely book again."

"Very clean, nice, safe, comfortable. Non-working kettle and can opener were replaced quickly. There is no oven or stovetop, just a microwave and barbecue - that's a big learning curve for me since I'm not familiar with either one. The site has a wonderful fire pit for socializing and everyone seemed friendly. Few steps to Beach 3 and a quick drive (or long walk) to Beach 1. Small casino and some shopping nearby for rainy days. "
