Bed and Breakfast in Wilmington

"The location and layout are great - right on the water, with a walking path along it and lots of outdoor seating. The pool is also great - bigger than many hotel pools, and with lots of chaise lounges. Our room, however, was very rundown and dirty. The floorboards were warped, there were spider webs on the bathroom ceiling, and the plug-in for the coffee maker had a web of dust all over it. The bathroom generally was old and rundown. By the time I realized all of this, we had already unpacked, so I didn't want to ask to move. In addition, they informed me when we checked in that the restaurant was being remodeled, so they had limited service and only outdoor seating. We were counting of the restaurant because we didn't want to go out to find meals elsewhere, but it was too cold to sit outside. So that was a disappointment. The fire pits that they touted were always occupied by other guests while we were there, but they looked cozy. They need to get more of them so that all guests have the opportunity to use them. One of the buildings is under renovation, so I hope the building we stayed in will get renovated soon too. If so, and if the restaurants are open, this would be a great place to stay."

"This is a great place for families with kids to stay, the rooms are spacious with a full size fridge and freezer. The pool with slides are a hit. Close proximity to multiple restaurants. The pull out bed isn’t that comfortable but otherwise a great place to stay. "

"Great old hotel/hostel. Cold pool on the roof :). Everything was fine until the morning. There was a movie set construction crew building scenes in the parking lot right outside our window, so loud, couldn't sleep. I mentioned it to the staff at check out. His reply - laughs and says we were on the quiet side. We only needed one night, good enough for that. "
