"The hotel was clean and conveniently located to the Williams train station where we took a train to the Grand canyon, which was really fun. The breakfast was good. The only thing that we did not like what's the lack of helpfulness in the staff. I was traveling with my 87-year-old friend and not once did the staff offer to open the heavy front door for her as I was rolling out all of our luggage. We asked for a luggage cart which they provided and a staffer pushed it out for us, but then as I was putting luggage on the rack from the trunk of my car, he disappeared without a word. I had to push it in myself opening the front door myself and rolling it down to our room. The same thing happened when we left. I had to ask for the cart and the guy at the desk seemed like it was an imposition and a waste of his time, and then as I was attempting to open the front door which opened towards me and push the cart out there were three people at the desk and not one of them offered to help. Same with the breakfast lady. She was late getting out the waffle batter and mumbling to herself, and there was a tip jar in the open. I have never seen a tip jar in the breakfast room. Isn't that their job, to organize the food, etc.? So in summary, if you are able-bodied and will be leaving early anyway and don't expect any help this is the hotel for you. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. It did have its pros and cons."
