"I made this reservation believing it was near the grand canyon. It was one of very few hotels recommended to me when I was looking for a hotel at the grand canyon. I was beyond frustrated to find that it was over an hour away from the Grand Canyon. That fact altered our trip and was a huge hassle to get back to the grand canyon as it was an extra 2 hours of driving per day from the hotel's location. Then I had to call up the maintenance man 3 times to help fix a terribly loud buzzing noise in our room. Lastly, I thought I booked a reservation with breakfast included and in the morning was told that breakfast was not included in our reservation. The only 2 parameters I was looking for in the reservation were proximity to the Grand Canyon and breakfast included. It was a huge disappointment to find neither were provided as offered. "

"Stay was perfectly adequate. Felt very bad for front desk staff when we arrived. We only saw one woman there for three hours (could easily see all from the pool) and she was working nonstop and so hard running around. Always a line of people- needed toilet paper or soap or towels, etc, and she was doing it all solo. Wish she had help. Pool was good. Hot tub seemed really, really hot. Breakfast was standard, eggs seemed better than most. Coffee wasn’t good."

"Williams is an excellent place to travel from to access the grand canyon national park. The star hotel is located on the riad oyt of town to the park. It took one hour exactly. The host was welcoming and room very clean."
