"Beautiful, well maintained, historic hotel run by amazing people. The owners are very polite and helpful - the hotel exceeded our expectations- located very conveniently and right on a canal. You can explore all the main attractions by foot or with easy connections to the tram. We will most certainly stay here again when our travels bring us to this beautiful city

"Very charming hotel in a great location. Easy access to everything Amsterdam has to offer.
Room with comfortable beds and all necessary amenities (towels could have been softer and thicker) "
"The hotel is centrally located with a convenient location to the main train station, restaurants and cafes. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Even though the hotel is located in a very busy area and we were on the 2nd floor, the room was very quiet.
We opted out of the daily cleaning of the room and we given a bottle of wine as a thank you.
A few minor issues: no clock in the room, the night stands were about 12" high, Outlet and USB ports only on 1 side of the bed, the water from the shower leaked out of the shower due to the design and placement of the drain, and the breakfast was too expensive.
Even with all the minor issues, we would stay here again.

"The hotel is the in a fantastic location and is charming given its age.
We stayed in a room in the “Attic” which was unique. The stairs were scary as they are steep and narrow. Our room had everything we needed, however we were constantly navigating the beams and the lighting was not enough. There was dust in nooks and crannies. Loved the staff; they were kind and thoughtful. I’d try another room if I were to stay again as the location was soo good for getting around."
