"Parking was good. The grab-n-go type breakfast was average. Counters were clean and well-stocked. The poor rating for cleanliness was due to a very sticky bathroom floor. It was also filthy when we decided to wash it with a washcloth because we didn’t want to walk on it in bare feet. As well, the room spray when we first arrived was incredibly strong. We opened the window fully to try and air it out, left for a couple hours, and came back to find it was just as strong. My wife got a bad headache from it. When we complained to the front desk, they offered a different, “neutral” spray to use, which we declined. We asked about changing to a different room and was told because we had “used” the room, that was not an option. (Only the bathroom was used.) We were told that because we paid for the room through Expedia that they could not offer a refund, which we never even asked for. This was reiterated twice, and we told them we weren’t asking for that. Needless to say, the window was open all night even though it was a cold night. The bed was a queen on a bed frame with wheels that the “brake” was not set in the on position. No headboard. Mattress was soft. The towels were fluffy and clean. Shower had nice hot water. There was a small microwave and fridge which were okay. We would not return to this hotel. "

"The breakfast is bagels, oj, coffee. Room was clean but needs repairs, bathroom fan too noisy, light switch damaged, door peeling, but beds are comfortable and room was clean. Front desk female employee very kind and efficient, avoid motel owner, he's angry jerk, not accommodating "

"We had a beautiful view, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the staff was friendly. A very welcome added bonus was they have an EV charging station right in their parking lot. There aren't a lot of charging stations on Whidbey Island, so that was a big plus."

"Interesting large historic rustic inn. Room less than basic. No bathroom, no closet, no drawers. Very small. Bedsheets clean and crisp. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Parking convenient and no charge. Interesting and attactive grounds. "

"An incredible choice of hot foods DAILY for breakfast! And the juice is fresh! Awesome customer service, housekeeping was amazing and an absolute joy to chat with. Loved the washer and dryer…so convenient. Best hotel in Oak Harbor for clean rooms, a happy front desk and yummy food! Thanks Coachman Inn!!"
