"The stay was very good. On arrival check in and parking was great. We were staying for our 10year wedding anniversary after getting married at the Vermont hotel. Once checked in we went to the room to be welcomed by a happy anniversary message and some cake which was lovely touch. The room was really clean and tidy, spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was great, plenty of options to choose from and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great stay "

"What a fantastic place to stay. Reasonably priced. Free parking in the grounds. Castle felt like a museum too. So many things to see and such a lot of history. My solo room was perfect. Breakfast was brilliant. Made to order. Selection of continental breakfast too. Will definitely come back. "

"The room we were staying, the decor was tired - not worthy of a 4 star hotel unfortunately. Upon arrival, wardrobe door was hanging off hinges, the wifi receiver box was hanging of the wall - room was also very dark. Pointed out wardrobe door to concierge and they had it fixed the next day, but should have been done before guest arrival - tables in hallway tired and peeling off. The staff was friendly though, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast had a good choice."
