Great stay in Whanganui
This was our second time staying long-term at this property. It is convenient to town and grocery stores as well as many attractions like the River City Market a short walk away. The hosts are very responsive to any and all messages and requests. We would highly recommend this property for a stay in Whanganui of any length.

Fab location
The house was warm, clean and tidy with everything you would expect on hand. The location is great - view of the river but the best part is that it is within easy walking distance to the city centre. Whanganui is really interesting place to visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the comfort of this house.

Awesome location
One can walk to all the sightseeing's, markets on Saturday 9min walk along the river. Has all the facilities one needs. A bit cold in winter upstairs, as there is no heater or hot water bottle. We loved it. Thank you Wendy

Great location, tidy, neat and warm property, bit sparse on kitchen items (e.g. good knives, good oil and proper S&P). Wasn't aware that the property was semi-attached, which was fine, but generally felt the need to be a bit quieter. Owners were great to deal with and really enjoyed not needing to take own linen and towels. Thank you!

The river view from the house is gorgeous and a lot of interesting places to visit are just along the road. Warm, comfortable. No smart TV so bring your tablets if you need Netflix/Neon. Books are good!

Great Whanganui riverfront location
My spouse and I had a three month long stay at this location and it was perfect for our stay. The host was very responsive to the few issues we had on arrival, and she remained responsive to all my requests/questions throughout our stay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is adequately supplied, and the heat pump worked well on the few days we needed it. The location is great. The dining room faces the river and we had a lovely view while eating. The sun comes in the room in the morning which is very nice when enjoying your morning tea/coffee. It’s a 10 minute walk into town for groceries, shopping or visiting the Saturday market. The house suited our needs so we’ll we’ve rebooked for next year.

Unacceptable filth
Unfortunately the stay was made very uncomfortable and unenjoyable due to the filth. The upstairs toilet area had pubic hair around it on the floor and the upstairs bed was disgusting. It was dreadfully obvious the sheets had not been changed or any effort made to remove pubic and head hair, and other unidentifiable fragments found inside the bed. Frankly I would hate to think about other areas or surfaces (we did not want to inspect after what we found) that would have been skipped over when such an obvious fundamental tasks have been ignored.

Superbly located for accessibility to Whanganui city attractions and food / beverage venues. Nice secluded cul de sac vehicle access - and convenient river frontage access for walking, etc. Facilities ideal for our two couples - separate bathrooms worked well! - overall very spacious!

Good location, a 10-minute walk from the centre. It's not flash (there's a distinct 1970s vibe) but the place is spacious for six people. Semi-detached so you hear the neighbours. No milk provided. You're expected to take away your rubbish or pay for its disposal. There were instructions to put used bedding into the washing machine in the garage, but no instructions on how to enter the garage.

Boxing tournament trip
