The location is excellent and our room had great ocean views. However, we had guests above us who were so noisy and inconsiderate that people were trying to sleep below them. Perhaps a sign at the front desk would help. They also need a real cook for their restaurant. The food was HORRIBLE.

I really love this location because it is right on the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is pleasant enough. Check in time is very strict and they charge a fee for early check in. That doesn't seem fair. Also the restaurant doesn't open until 4pm. I would have liked a cocktail at 3. At least open the bar area. I did have a chance to talk with some local people and they would frequent the bar and restaurant if it were open earlier. otherwise the day was perfect the weather cooperated and it was a good trip after all. oh why are none of the upper rooms with balconies open to Expedia customers?

As far as room requests, you are able to book upper level oceanview rooms with a balcony if you choose to book through Expedia and they have one available. The tiny room was not worth the price and additional “destination fee”. It’s in a good location and restaurant and bar area are nice as well as out door area and pool. The room was musty including sheets (stain on the bedspread). The carpet in the room was disgusting and soggy and should be ripped out. Very outdated however, the bathroom has been updated nicely. Too bad there was low water pressure in the shower. For a couple of nights it’s acceptable but too expensive.

I booked 3 rooms here in September for my fathers birthday. He wanted to visit the Nordic Lodge and this was my hotel choice for the weekend. I am most sad that we only spent a weekend here. The weather was perfect for the beach and pool still! The pool was heated which was great even though it didn't need to be. The staff were friendly! The 2 free drinks per room were strong but good! The view, THE VIEW?! SO PRETTY! The beach was so clean. There were a few stores/shops/restaurants within walking distance and everything else was a short drive for the most part. The only complaints I have are that the beds could have been a little bit better, they were soft but sort of lumpy-ish lol and in my room specifically it smelled like dog pee or as if the carpet was wet for a really long time. I couldn't tell if it was coming from the carpet or the AC vent. It wasn't terrible and I understand this is a pet friendly hotel so it is what it is. I will say I still felt as though the room was clean! Free coffee in the morning was also a plus! The hotel felt so homey, it was extremely comfortable. Me, my dad, and grandmom sipped coffee one morning sitting right in the lobby by the pool. They even had wooden decor signs and such to purchase, which we did! As well as a t shirt for a souvenir. We look forward to coming back again!

Renovated recently but still dated. No in room house phones, no clock in room, old style toilets, no house keeping service unless requested 24 hours in advance, no breakfast served in restaurant, rain water from the roof poured into our room, no elevator and people call it the house of stairs. We were so very stressed and disappointed. Two good points: Restaurant was excellent and the staff was great.

Good position right on the beach but the hotel is in dire need of a revamp. The ceiling tiles were falling apart, there was litter under the bed and one of the divans was ripped and falling apart. The swimming pool was warm but full of bugs. The rooms are very small to be holding two beds.

Room and balcony with view very attractive, clean, and comfortable. Very good a/c; unlimited ice available But .received no housekeeping for whole 4 days, but were not told this in advance. (Dirty dishes, messy trash not removed.) Restaurant food mediocre. Would definitely stay there again.

This was the second time I stayed there. The only thing that I was disappointed with was they took out the stairs that went down to the beach. The stairs to the beach is was what brought me back. Not sure if we will go back.

The view is priceless but parking is a hassle for Inn guests. They used to have a gate. Now anyone wishing to go to the beach parks in the guest lot. Just give your paying guests a paper tag to display. Put up a sign saying Inn guest only! Do something to discourage them!

We've been coming many years off and on. I do wish they still served breakfast and had more dinner items on the menu. All in all a very nice place to stay. We had a waitress, Elannh for two nights at dinner who was just wonderful.

Very disappointed the room very small bathroom was dirty you couldn’t walk around the bed in the bathroom if you were taller than 55 and if you were having you can’t even go in it very disappointing the door was stuck It needs to be updated and needs to be painted and it needs a lot of work.

I did ask for a king bed but did not get a true king bed a king bed is 76x80 they gave me a 70x80 and called it a king when in fact it is not also room was dirty I have pics to prove it and it had an open electric box for ac unit very dangerous

This property is nicely located right on the beach. It provides beach towels. There was a strong moldy/musty odor in our room, no housekeeping service during 3 nights stay, loud sounds from people in the room above us just walking, extremely dirty floors, ten minutes running the shower just to get warm water out of it. The food services in the restaurant was truly disgusting. I’m sorry; I wanted to love it. But, it is necessary to eat elsewhere. The location and beach are fantastic!!

Disappointed this trip!!
Our bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Shower curtain had mold on it, outsdie if it had what looked like blood as well, tub had weird stains. No hot water. Had to find another room for us to bring our shower stuff to go shower in and then bring back to our room instead of just changing our rooms. Unsure why it will not let me upload the pics of the shower curtains or the disgusting tub. Brought to managements attention obviously as again we were giving a room down the hall i had to lug shower stuff for each of us including my 5 year old w a cast to shower. Very disappointing. Manager did refund the destination fee of $118 as a compensation.
