Convenient location, very clean, and comfortable. Had all the things we needed for a short stay. The only thing I would change is the fact of how easy you can hear through the walls (halls or bedroom). Seems to be the norm though.
We arrived during renovations and saw the management transform the hotel in time for a packed crowd. Everything looked good and was clean. We were disappointed in the lack of healthy options for breakfast. Made to order eggs and pancakes were good, but the wait was long. A nice fruit salad and yogurt would have been nice. Very friendly staff.
We were completely new to the city, visiting our granddaughter at UW and attending a football game. Didn't know where to stay, but found the distance to the University to be about a 10 minute drive, with an available shuttle to the game.
Visit to Madison was for a weekend/football game. Location was great--quiet business park area with amenities close by. Stairwell carpeting was dirty-not a good first impression. Room was clean but smelled antiseptic---made us wonder what happened there. Fortunately we could ope windows to a court yard and get fresh air! Staff was friendly and informative.
The room was clean, large and looked recently updated. There was also a full kitchen which would have been great had we been there longer. We were in town for Badger football game and we usually have large gatherings in one of rooms, the so kitchen would be great for all the Pre and post game festivities.
"Great 3 Star Hotel With a Super Pool and Whirlpool"
This is a quite nice 3-star hotel. The suites are very roomy. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice with all amenities. The pool area is absolutely wonderful - one of the best. It's very spacious and the whirlpool is large and comfortable. The free breakfast is fine and they have OK coffee 24x7. Our bed was a little soft but acceptable.
We traveled to Madison to attend our very first Epic training. After a very long and stressful travel day, we arrived at the hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and informative. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the comfy pillows and the nice, powerful shower head! The mini fridge was a great added benefit for preserving our leftover food. The Epic shuttle was a huge help each day as we only had a rental car for day 1. The hotel shuttle driver, Bill, was awesome! He was so very accomodating and really went out of his way to ensure that we were able to see and do what we wanted while in Madison. The other shuttle driver, Kevin, was not nearly as polite or accomodating. He even put his hand out requesting a tip as we exited the shuttle. Not good customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Benvenutos one evening along with happy hour at the bar one evening. We plan to stay again during return visits to Madison, WI! Thanks for a wonderful week!
Tucked along the southern shores of Lake Mendota, Middleton is within 6 miles of downtown Madison. This historic community features the National Mustard Museum, Capital Brewery Co., and Club Tavern, a restaurant and bar dating back to the 1880s. The city's trail system provides recreation opportunities and is highlighted with a 550-acre nature area that offers bird watching and wildlife viewing.
