"Beautiful property and location. Historic building (which you can clearly see with the difference in floor levels on the ground floor) but completely modernized guest rooms. Really stunning area to walk around but as it is on a hill, most routes require you to walk back up. Near Richmond Park nature preserve but I preferred to go towards the Thames. Only drawback is location is not easily accessible to public transportation and I had a guest room on the ground floor which is right next to a car...

"Staff friendly and helpful but ruined by the lady that checked me in who was distinctly rude and unhelpful. Property clean and well maintained but terrible ordour in bathroom (self contained0. Had to leave window open in winter and repeatedly spray with body spray when going in. need strong air freshner but better solve the issue causing the strong sewer smell. "
