"The room I got had so much character, with a beautiful view of the water and city, even the windows were lovely. Everything was clean, bright and felt safe (older woman travelling alone for dr appointment). I enjoyed my room so much that I got room service and ate, looking out the window. The meal was visually beautiful and tasted wonderful. All staff were wonderful. Bed was comfy. For those who are chemically sensitive, the linens have a touch of scent. I would stay here again, can't beat the proximity to Granville Island."

Unfortunatelly, there's no lobby bar and the Rooftop Restaurant was closed all week-end long. Other negative point, the fan in the room is very noisy."

"A budget hotel in a great location in downtown Vancouver, located just off the busy main street, Davie Street. With convenient walking access to Yaletown-Roundhouse and Granville subway stations, and the many bus stops, this is a good place to base yourself when exploring greater Vancouver. Just don't expect high end luxury! This is an older building with limited amenities and modest sized rooms. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms look to have had a recent refresh, but the general appearance of the rooms and hallways looks "tired". The rooms are also quite noisy, with thin walls and a nearby nightclub providing a constant beat until 2 or so in the morning. However, if you are a young adventurous traveler who wants to join in the fun and don't mind a bit of noise, this is as good a spot to base yourself."
